Your Arrival at Falmouth Haven

The instructor will contact you by text the night before, by way of introduction and subsequently, on your arrival at 1800h, you will be met in North Quay car park, at the entrance to the Marina, by the instructor who will take you to the yacht and for an informal chat about your aspirations and how the course will be delivered.

Parking

You can park on the quay but you will need to purchase a parking ticket from the Marina office which is a 2-minute walk and is situated at 44 Arwenack St, Tel: 01326 310990.

If you want to find alternative parking you can look for free parking in town or use one of the long stay car parks within a 7 -10 min walk from the Marina. If you are not going to park on the quay then please be aware that you only have 15 minutes to unload. The cost of parking on the quay, if space is available, is £8 per day.

Alternatively, we operate a valet parking service which is £66 for the duration of the course, but please let us know in advance if you want to take advantage of this service.

Bedding & Towels

Since the start of the pandemic we have stopped the provision of bedding and  towels. However, we do provide clean mattress protectors and pillow cases. So please bring the following with you:

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Towel

Provisioning

On the first evening no provisions are provided so we suggest you make a booking at the Chain Locker pub or one of the many great pubs and restaurants close to the Marina. Please see the file attached. We have secured discounts for our customers at our favourite restaurants so please ask us for details.

For the subsequent 4 nights breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided on board along with hot drinks and snacks.
